NSW-Roadworthy-WaggaNeed your NSW Roadworthy Registration done in Wagga?

All cars older than 5 years, registered in NSW must pass an annual roadworthy test (unless otherwise specified on your registration papers), where the vehicle undergoes a brake efficiency test & a safety inspection. Once the vehicle passes, a Pinkslip is then generated and electronically sent directly to the RMS. We offer an express NSW Roadworthy service to get your vehicle ready for registration renewal.

To register a vehicle, your car needs to be checked to ensure its safe to drive. Here’s how it works:

  • About 30 days before the registration is due for renewal the RMS will send your registration papers via mail.
  • A safety inspection (Pinkslip) is then required if the vehicle is 5 years of age or older.
  • A compulsory third party green slip (CTP) is also required before the vehicle registration can be renewed. These can be purchased either online, over the phone, or in store from companies such as NRMA, GIO, QBE, Allianz, AAMI etc.
  • Once you have your CTP greenslip & eSafety Check completed your vehicle can be registered. This can be done either in store at your local RMS, over the phone, or online here.
  • If your vehicle is comprehensively insured, ensure this is kept up to date, Comprehensive insurance is not a requirement for NSW registration, but ensures your vehicle will be repaired, or replaced in the event of an accident.”

e-Safety Check: After your vehicle has passed the vehicle safety check, we will electronically send a report to NSW Roads and Maritime Services  which allows you to renew your rego online or by phone on 13 22 13.
